Elliott Star Football Club is celebrating a successful 2003/2004 season.
The first team ended the season in ninth place in the Herts County Premier Division, and the reserve side maintained its place in the top reserve division. Both sides had a difficult start to the season, but managed to turn their seasons around.
At the presentation night, the awards went to Tommy Armit, who won Player's Player and Ross Griggs, who won Player of the Year for the first team.
In the reserve team the Player's Player was Steve Wilkinson, Player of the Year went to Matt Halliday and the Young Player of the Year was Brad Bode The club is looking forward to the new season with pre-season training starting on Thursday July 1, 7pm at Pursley Playing fields, London Road, Shenley.
Training will continue every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm at Pursley Playing Fields. The club are also looking for new players, and they are welcome to attend.
