Pupils from 10 Borehamwood schools battled it out in the Annual Borehamwood Primary School Six-a-Side Tournament 2004.
The all day event took place last weekend at Meryfield Primary School and the youngsters took part in a total of 48 matches. Shenley Primary School's A Team were the winners of the under 11s tournament and Meryfield's B Team, f=times pictured above,o were victorious in the under 10s competition.
Headteacher at Meryfield Maggie Kirby said the day was thoroughly enjoyable. "It was great. There was a really good standard of football and the pupils all seemed to enjoy the tournament."
Alongside the football matches the school's Parent Teacher Association organised the Meryfield Summer Fair to take place at the same time.
