Elstree youngster Ben Davis added to his trophy cabinet when he and fellow 15-year-old Libor Salaba, of the Czech Republic, won the Junior World Ranking Doubles title in Bulgaria on Saturday.
The pair defeated 17-year-old Swedes Tim Goranson and Jonathan Greczula in the final, which took place in Plovdiv.
Winning this International Tennis Federation tournament is another step on the ladder of success for Ben, who was British number one at under-14s and is now ranked 649th in the under-18s, having started the year ranked 1150th.
Ben also reached the last 16 in the singles event before losing to third seed Ilya Lebedev, of Russia, who went on to win the tournament.
Ben trains at the Gosling Tennis Academy in Welwyn Garden City, Radlett Lawn Tennis and Squash Club and Beaumonts Health Club in Borehamwood.
After completing his GCSE exams this summer he is aiming to play tennis full time while taking A' levels by correspondence course.
