Caretaker manager George Borg will not be in charge of Boreham Wood for tomorrow night's crunch game against Staines Town.
He has left the club to spend more time with his sick brother.
Wood agreed to grant Borg compassionate leave, and wished him well for the future.
Borg said he would not be returning to Meadow Park and would look for a new challenge next season.
He was due to leave at the end of the season anyway, having only taken over the managerial role on a caretaker basis.
Wood have two games left in which to secure their Ryman League Premier Division status.
They host Staines Town tomorrow evening.
