Boreham Wood go into tonight's home clash with Staines Town knowing that three points will be enough to keep them up.
But they must go into battle without George Borg, who has left his role as caretaker boss.
A win would also push Wood into mid-table, such is the tightness of the Ryman League Premier Division this season.
However, Wood will have their work cut out.
Staines slipped to a surprise home defeat at the hands of Hendon on Saturday, having previously taken 22 out of 24 points.
The Swans are already guaranteed a place in the play-offs, something that might work in Wood's favour.
Should Wood not pick up the points they require, they will have one more chance this coming Saturday, when they travel to Ramsgate for their final league contest.
