Young sports enthusiasts have the chance to take part in Hertfordshire's own version of the Olympics.
Team Hertsmere is keen to recruit boys and girls to compete in the Herts Youth Games, which takes place next month.
Players are needed for the following sports: athletics, basketball, netball, table tennis, tag rugby and kwik cricket.
Practice sessions are taking place now, so interested boys and girls should contact Helen Bottomley, Hertsmere's community sports officer, for more information on 020 8207 7801 (helen.bottomley@hertsmere.gov.uk).
The Herts Youth Games, supported by Herts Sports Partnership, is a celebration of sport which aims to raise the profile of sport and encourage involvement.
This year the Games will take place on May 10 and 11 at the University of Hertfordshire's sport village in Hatfield, with celebrity guests Colin Jackson and Alison Mowbray in attendance.
