The BBC is reportedly looking to poach This Morning star Alison Hammond for a rival show after offering her a 'big money deal'.

It is thought that the star could present a daytime programme on at the same time as This Morning alongside a travel show.

She currently co-hosts the ITV programme on a part-time basis alongside Dermot O'Leary.

The news that she could be taking the reigns of two brand-new shows comes after BBC bosses signed her up for a celebrity interview series called Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend.

The show sees her spend 48 hours with a star in an attempt to fully immerse herself in their world.

Discussing the news that This Morning star Alison Hammond could present two new programmes on the BBC, the TV insider told The Sun: “This is a continuing nightmare for ITV as Alison is seen by them as one of their biggest stars — but she’s increasingly working for their rivals.

“The travel show is the latest tempting offer she’s taken up with BBC execs revelling in the fact they can put it head-to-head with This Morning.

“It could lead to the situation where Alison can be seen hosting the daytime magazine show on ITV while simultaneously being seen over on BBC One.”

The new travel show is said to be titled Florida Unpacked and will focus on the popular U.S. state.

The first run of episodes is set to start filming next month and will continue until September.

Alison Hammond, who became a household name after appearing in the 2002 series of Big Brother, also stars in shows like For The Love Of Dogs.
