HEALTH conscious council officers are encouraging a booze ban in Hertsmere during Alcohol Awareness Month.
Working alongside Hertfordshire Constabulary, a team is visiting visit gyms and shopping areas throughout the month to promote the project.
They will be talking to the public to highlight the negative impacts of alcohol on health and fitness and encouraging residents to go alcohol-free.
The scheme visits Borehamwood Shopping Park, in Theobald Street, today, at 10am to 2pm. And The Venue, in Elstree Way, from 4pm to 6pm.
