EXCITED children from Cowley Hill Primary School in Borehamwood won a competition to meet a new group of penguins at the London Aquarium last week.
Year six pupils met nine Antarctic Gentoo penguins, which are the residents of a new themed area at the aquarium called The Ice Adventure, on Wednesday, May 18.
The youngsters were amazed at the Gentoos' acrobatics, as they playfully dived in and out of the water.
However, their favourite part of the visit was the Shark Walk, where they had to walk over a glass bridge above the sharks.
The children won the competition through FirstNews, a national newspaper aimed at children aged seven to 14 years old.
