RESIDENTS are urged to discuss plans for a new toddler play area in the Farriers estate in Borehamwood at two drop-in events in June and July.
It is proposed the £24,000 project will create a fenced-off space suitable for children under the age of eight, later this year.
Councillor Jean Heywood (Con/Hillside), environment portfolio holder, hopes the project will be welcomed by local people.
The consultation events take place on June 2 and July 28, from 3pm to 7pm at the Farriers Way open space.
Residents will be able to discuss ideas and any concerns about the new play area with officers from the council's parks team. Entertainment for children will also be provided at the event.
