THE health bus will be making a stop in Borehamwood next week as part of a UK tour offering health checks for shoppers.
On Tuesday, May 24, the bus will be calling at Tesco, in Shenley Road, offering health checks and screening services.
People eligible for a free NHS health check can have one on the bus, instead of visiting their GP. Patients can also have their tests for blood pressure, cholesterol and body mass index.
Health checks available to people aged between 40 and 74. NHS stop smoking advisers will also be on the bus and people aged 15 to 24 can take a quick and easy test for sexually transmitted disease chlamydia.
People can board the bus between 9am and 5pm.
