Bank holds adoption day for dogs
A BANK in Borehamwood will be full of dogs this weekend as an animal rescue charity tries to pair pets with new owners.
Employees from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home have been welcomed by Metro Bank, in Borehamwood Shopping Park, to hold a rehousing drive on Saturday and Sunday.
Each day, charity staff will bring 20 dogs and be on hand to meet residents and offer advice on responsible ownership.
The event forms part of the bank's Dogs Rule campaign, which encourages customers to bring their pets inside.
The bank will also be donating money to the charity.
The event takes place between 12pm and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
