A PRIMARY School in Radlett has received £2,760 from three borough councillors to help build a new play area.
Newberries Primary School, in Newberries Avenue, will use the money to create a climbing pyramid, seating area and garden, which will be ready for the new term in September.
Conservative Aldenham East councillors Charles Goldstein and John Graham, as well as Aldenham West councillors Daniel Griffin and Simon Patnick, each allocated £690 towards the project.
The money comes from the Ward Improvement Initiative Scheme (WIIS), which allows councillors to support projects and schemes.
Residents can make a bid for cash from the WIIS scheme by contacting their local councillor.
