SHENLEY fete will celebrate prehistoric life with the theme for this year’s parade being dinosaurs.
The annual event, at the Harris Lane Playing Fields, will include stalls run by businesses in the area, children’s teacup rides, bouncy castles, face painting, a hog roast, live music and a beer tent.
The parade will start at Andrew Close at 12.30pm and the fete will be officially opened by the new Hertsmere mayor at 1.15pm.
Other events include children’s races, Zumba, gymnastics and a tug o’war competition.
