A BOREHAMWOOD resident has been ordered to pay more than £4,000 in compensation after she collected money from the pensions policy of a deceased woman.
Loretta Bellot, 61, of Aycliffe Road, pleaded guilty at St Albans Magistrates' Court on Monday.
She was charged with fraud for falsely claiming the pension payments of Sadie Goodman to the value of £4,231.44, between February 2006 and January 2011.
The court told her to repay the amount to insurers Canada Life, handed her a conditional discharge for two years and gave her a bill for costs of £85.
