RESULTS of the local elections for Hertsmere Borough Council will be announced this afternoon.
Polling stations closed at 10pm yesterday evening, with the returning officer, Donald Graham, predicting a moderate turnout at the ballot box of around 35 per cent.
Thirteen seats will be decided when results are called at Allum Hall, in Allum Lane, from 2pm.
