Three teenage scouts from Elstree and Borehamwood have been honoured with the top award in scouting, the Queen's Scout Award.
Jonathan Ainley,18, Toby Chaplin, 18, and Joel Seshold, 17, also completed the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award through their membership of the Phoenix ESU Explorer Scouts.
All three boys from the Elstree and Borehamwood Scout Group received Royal certificates from the Queen and attended the National Scout Service and a St George's day parade at Windsor Castle.
The Queen's Scout Award is only open to scouts aged between 16 and 25 who show the highest level of commitment and acheivement in community service and activities over a number of years.
