Pensioners yearning for a day at the seaside this summer can book tickets for 13 different trips thanks to Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council.
The day trips, which include destinations such as Clacton, the Cotswolds and Canterbury, cost £5 each to all residents of Elstree and Borehamwood aged over 60.
The coach trips begin on Monday, June 12 and take place on various weekdays until Monday, July 24.
Anyone wishing to book a ticket will need to show proof of age, such as a pension book or a bus pass, and residence in the parish of Elstree and Borehamwood.
Tickets are on sale from Monday at Fairway Hall, Brook Close, Borehamwood every weekday from 9am to 12 noon.
