More than one hundred children with special needs from Noah's Ark playscheme were treated to a fun packed day at a funfair in Borehamwood.
The trip, organised by Hertsmere Council and childrens' organisation Noah's Ark, took the children and their families, away from their usual Sunday afternoons at home, to a fun-filled fair with rides, stalls, candyfloss and competitions.
Derrick Gunasekera, Deputy Mayor of Hertsmere, said: "It was a really excellent day. It was amazing for the parents too as it gave them a real break from their constant hard work."
