A Hertfordshire MP is warning that under new Government planning guidance, land in expensive areas such as Hertfordshire can be taken out of the Green Belt, in exchange for land in other parts of Britain being protected. In a letter to the Campaign to Protect Rural England MP Mark Prisk said: "No longer does a specific site enjoy permanent protection."
