A thief pushed a 57-year-old woman to the ground and stole her handbag on the outskirts of Potters Bar on Wednesday, June 9.
At 2.10pm the woman was walking through a field, next to Baker Street, towards a bridge over the M25, when she was attacked by a bare-chested man.
There was a struggle, but he took her bag and ran off. The woman had cuts to her hand. He was white, in his 20s, around 5ft 9ins tall, with short fair hair.
He was bare-chested, carried a blue football shirt, and wore blue jeans. The bag contained keys, a purse, a Nokia phone and credit cards. Witnesses are asked to call police on 01707 638102 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
