Hare Krishna devotees hold a yoga class at Bhaktivedanta Manor Healthy Hare Krishnas at Bhaktivedanta Manor will be holding a free yoga and meditation workshop tomorrow, Saturday, June 19.
Following recent news stories about increasing levels of obesity in Britain, devotees at the Manor decided to hold a special yoga day.
Visitors will be able learn yoga postures and breathing techniques, meditation, self-healing and yoga for the workplace.
The yoga class will demonstrate gentle exercises for people of all ages, and there will be a more advanced class for those with more experience.
The meditation workshop will take place in the beautiful Manor gardens, helping people to focus the mind, and there will be a mantra-chanting workshop, free lunch will be served.
Tours of the Manor building will available and an ox-cart will take groups for a ride to dairy farm and organic fields. The day runs from 11am until 4pm at Bhaktivedanta Manor, Hilfield Lane, Aldenham.
