A Borehamwood organisation set up to provide help and support for families with young children is holding its annual general meeting on Wednesday Home Start Borehamwood & District hopes parents will come along to the meeting to find out about the charity's work. There will be several interesting guest speakers, and people will have the chance to speak to staff and volunteers. Patron Kim Taylforth will also be there to meet people.

Following the meeting there will be refreshments and a buffet lunch provided free of charge. The AGM will be held from 12noon until 2pm at Hertsmere Council's Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood.
