Parents interested in a new Borehamwood group for children with learning difficulties are invited to the launch of Ohana on Saturday, June 19.
The idea of the group, being set up by Borehamwood mother Jose Couleras, is to establish a place where children with learning difficulties can mix with more able children, to learn from each other and make friends.
It would be a "one stop shop" for parents and children, meeting children's needs, nurturing their talents and helping them gain confidence.
At the launch, to be held at the Village Hall in Shenley Road from 3pm on Saturday, June 19, there will be face painting, a tombola, lucky dips, refreshments, a raffle, a colouring competition and a games stall.
