I visited our local museum today and was very impressed with the new display about local people who were involved in D-Day.
The museum always has such interesting displays about Borehamwood and Elstree's history, it really is a credit to the town and to the volunteers who put so much time and effort into it.
I see that the Signor Baffi restaurant has now closed and thought what a wonderful location the old Dutch Oven would make for our town's museum, perhaps the council could consider acquiring this town landmark to provide a permanent home for the museum?
