With a theme of 'Hell Lies In Others', Celebrity Big Brother will return to our screen this Sunday. So which celebrities could be entering the Borehamwood-based CBB house this year?
The internet and national press is once again buzzing with rumours as to which celebrities could possibly be entering the compound on Sunday.
Shirley Jones, Executive Producer of CBB, has said: "This is no holiday camp for pampered personalities; Celebrity Big Brother won't be leaving the limelight quietly".
So which celebrities have I heard could be potentially entering the CBB house this Sunday? Well: Stephen Baldwin
The Hollywood actor, famed for his appearances in films including The Usual Suspects and Born on the Fourth of July, has reportedly agreed to become one of the CBB housemates.
Stephanie Beacham
The actress, best-known for her roles in Connie and Dynasty in the Eighties, has reportedly signed to become a housemate. More recently Beacham was partnered with Vincent Simone in last year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Dane Bowers
Pop singer, songwriter and record producer, Bowers, who started his singing career with Another Level, is among those celebrities rumoured to be entering the CBB compound.
Russell Grant
TV astrologer Russell Grant was rumoured to be entering the CBB house this weekend; but apparently has now changed his mind. He must have seen something in the stars!
MC Hammer
The Nineties rapper MC Hammer is reportedly said to be on the list of CBB housemates.
Vinnie Jones
Ex-footballer turned actor Vinnie Jones is said to be tempted to enter the CBB compound this weekend - if the price is right! Digital Spy reported today that producers are said to be having last minute negotiations with Jones in the hope of persuading him to enter the house.
Kym Marsh
Rumours were rife that Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh could be entering the compound this weekend – that is until soap bosses ruled this out. Pity!
Brooke Kinsella
Former EastEnders' actress Brooke Kinsella to be "on a last-minute list of possible celebrity contestants". I hope she does enter the house.
Alex Reid
Katie Price's on-off lover Alex Reid is also rumoured to be entering the CBB house this Sunday. Rolls eyes. Oh dear!
Lady Sovereign
Rapper Lady Sovereign (known as Louise Harman to her friends and family) is also said to be entering the Elstree Studios-based compound this Sunday. I must admit I am not really aware of her work. But I love the idea of both her and MC Hammer having the odd late-night rap in the living room. Maybe a new hit single will be born on the back lot at Elstree Studios!
Confirmed has being ruled-out are both Boy George and Kerry Katona for reasons I am sure that you will have already read about by now in the press.
Personally I would love to see former Gavin & Stacey actor Larry Lamb enter the compound this Sunday. Imagine if he was to become a housemate without giving advance warning to his presenter son George Lamb of CBBLB fame!
Incidentally, Comic Relief is set to benefit from votes cast by phone this year. A total of 15p from each 50p call made by viewers will be donated to the charity.
Davina will introduce what could arguably be the last-ever series of CBB starting this Sunday on Channel 4 at 9pm. Coverage of the series will also be screened on sister channel, E4.
George Lamb will again return to host CBBLB; and Davina McCall will again also host CBBBM.
By the way, I will be writing my usual CBB-related blog over on the Big Brother section of this website from Sunday. You can find a link to this blog listed above right.
CBB is back for one final fling. What will this series bring? Only time will tell!
