Former Grange Hill star Erkan Mustafa (Roland Browning) is planning a reunion event in aid of charity.
Mustafa (who appeared in the series from 1981-1987) is attempting to reunite cast members of the school-based drama series, and many of its fans, which ended last year.
Erkan is also hoping that celebrity fans will also turn up for the event, which is scheduled to take place at the Sound club in London's Leicester Square on the 8th October this year.
As most residents of Borehamwood will know, Grange Hill was taped at BBC Elstree for many years. The Neptune Building (an administration building situated on the site) played the exterior of the main school building.
Various scenes for the children's series were also filmed nearby on location. Shenley Road could often be spotted in the various episodes.
Recently, Justin Lee-Collins successfully reunited certain stars from Grange Hill for his Bring Back... series on Channel 4. And despite Grange Hill no-longer being made, the series continues to be fondly remembered by many - including myself!
