A driver from Hertfordshire has won £10,000 a month for a year after matching the five main numbers in the National Lottery Set For Life draw.
The mystery man, known only as Mr A, won this life-changing amount of money by playing the Lucky Dip via the National Lottery app.
The Hertfordshire winner has become one of over nine million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games - his first big purchase was a king-size ottoman bed.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn - operator of The National Lottery - said: “Wow what amazing news for Mr A, who can now look forward to receiving £10k every month for a year! Huge congratulations!”
This year is the 30th birthday of The National Lottery. Since it launched, over 7,400 millionaires have been made and more than £50 billion has been raised for Good Causes, with more than 700,000 individual grants awarded.
Winners have the option to release their name, remain anonymous, or like this winner, release some details but remain partially anonymous.
Players are able to buy all of The National Lottery’s draw-based games including Set For Life, Lotto, EuroMillions and Thunderball via national-lottery.co.uk.
