Sentencing is set to go ahead after a man admitted trying to steal and also damaging a Royal Mail post van.
Harrison Bryson appeared in Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court and indicated a guilty plea over all three offences on Saturday (June 22).
He had been charged with stealing a key and a fuel card belonging to Royal Mail, as well as attempting to steal a Peugot Partner van belonging to the service, on October 20, last year, in Rickmansworth.

The 26-year-old also admitted to criminal damage to property valued under £5000, which referred to damaging the same vehicle “intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged”.
The exact value of the property Bryson admitted to damaging, stealing, or attempting to steal was listed as “unknown” in court documents.
Bryson, of Kewferry Road, Northwood, has been remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance, for sentencing, in Isleworth Crown Court on July 8.
