Borehamwood detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 20s was attacked with a knife this morning (Thursday).

The assault, which left the victim with minor injuries, occurred around 8.43am in Keystone Passage, near Shenley Road.

Police rushed to the scene and recovered a weapon believed to have been used in the incident. They are now conducting area searches and working to establish the circumstances.

Hertsmere Local Crime Unit's Detective Sergeant Yaser Khan stated: "We are appealing to anyone who might have seen this incident take place and equally anyone who saw anything suspicious in the time leading up to, or after, the attack."

DS Khan also hopes those with relevant dash cam, doorbell or CCTV footage will share it with police.

He added: "I would like to thank everyone who has assisted police so far with this enquiry and encourage anyone with further information to report this, as it may be vital to our investigation."
