Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist got off his bike and jumped onto the bonnet of a car, before throwing his bike at the vehicle.
This bizarre incident leading to criminal damage between 3.15pm and 3.20pm on Monday, April 1, on Borehamwood's Shenley Road.
The offender reportedly climbed off the car then threw his bike at it, causing a dent, before fleeing on his bicycle.
Herts Police released a photo in connection with the incident today (May 1).
Police constable Ellie Silverman said: "We are keen to talk to anyone that was in the area at the time who may have witnessed this incident and could have vital information for our investigation.
"Did you witness this incident?
"Or if you believe that you have information that could help with this investigation, please email me at ellie.silverman@herts.police.uk with any information, thank you."
The police are also accepting information via their website, or non-emergency number on 101, or anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
