As landmark legislation progresses to create a “smokefree generation”, here's how Hertfordshire MPs voted in the latest reading.
The Tobacco and Vapes Bill received its second reading in Parliament yesterday, April 16, as the government puts forward plans to ban anyone born after January 1 2009 from ever buying cigarettes.
The minimum age of sale will be raised by one year each year to mean children turning 15 this year or younger will never be able to legally buy tobacco, preventing future generations from picking up the habit.
