An alleged bomb threat has been made to a school in Borehamwood.
Hertfordshire police were contacted about the reported incident at Hertswood Academy shortly after 9pm on Friday (13 October).
Officers and an explosives-detection dog attended the scene, and "several comprehensive searches of the site" took place.
However, no devices were found and the incident is now being treated as a hoax.

An investigation is now under way to determine the origin of the "malicious communications".
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "As a precautionary measure and to offer reassurance, officers have been in attendance at the school today (Monday, October 16).
"Local Safer Neighbourhood Team officers will be conducting additional reassurance patrols in the area over the coming days."
