Students in Borehamwood and Elstree have been hailed after they received their GCSE results this week.
Hertswood Academy, Yavneh College, and Haberdashers' were full of praise for pupils who secured "outstanding and fantastic" grades.
At Hertswood, 70% of Year 11's secured grades between 9 and 4 (a pass) in maths, with 63% in English.
The school gave shout-outs to Grace Eldo, Darren Arquero, Jessica Gale, Yasmin Pickford, and Lucie Brooker who all achieved ten or more GCSEs and 52 9-7 grades between them.
Head teacher Peter Gillett said: "Our students have performed incredibly well despite the huge disruption to their education over the last few years.
"This is a testament to their hard work and perseverance, the effort and guidance from our dedicated staff and of course, support from families and friends. I wish all students and their families the very best for the future."
Yavneh College head Spencer Lewis says he was "delighted" by his students' results adding pupils can be "so proud".
Overall, 93% achieved a grade 9-4, with 53% 9-7.
Sasha Rabinowitz, Adam Herman, Ben Sassen, Charlie Cohen, Olivia Cowan, Ashley Rosen, Kayla Chesler, Shoshana Woolf, Gaby Rodner, Alexander Paster, Brett Kosky, Adam Silverstone, and Gia Levin all achieved grades of 8 or 9, which are the equivalent of A and A*.
Adam Bannon and Charlie Levy each were awarded nine grade 9s.
At Haberdashers' Girls school in Elstree, 54% of the grades awarded were 9 and 91% between 9 and 7 while at Habs' Boys, 61% of the grades awarded were 9 and 95% 9 to 7.
From September, the GCSE cohort will be the first students at both schools who will be taught their A Levels in co-educational classes.
Headmistress Rose Hardy and headmaster Gus Lock said: "Congratulations to our Year 11 students on their outstanding GCSE results. After navigating two national lockdowns, these results are testament to the resilience and hard work of all our students.
"We are also indebted to all our staff for their unwavering support to our students through this unprecedented time in the history of education."
