Three people were arrested after armed police responded to reports of an incident allegedly involving a “machete”.
Police were called to Ash Grove on the Harperbury Park housing estate off Harper Lane, near Radlett, just before 5pm yesterday (August 2).
It was following a report three males were involved in a row and that one was in possession of a weapon – described as a machete.
Officers, including from the armed unit, attended the scene before widening the search into Radlett in a bid to find the suspects.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of affray, police confirmed. Despite an extensive search, no weapons were found and no injuries were reported.
