Police are appealing for information after the attempted theft of a motorbike in Borehamwood.
Two people used bolt cutters to remove padlocks from the bike which was parked in a garden in Caishowe Road.
However the would-be thieves fled without the bike after the owner sounded the alarm on his video doorbell.
The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday May 28 between 3.49am and 3.54am.
Police say the two people were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered with their hoods up.
