Lidl has confirmed when its new and bigger store at Borehamwood Shopping Park will open.
The supermarket chain will start serving customers at its relocated store from Thursday May 19.
Lidl is moving across the shopping park to a much larger unit that was formerly Debenhams.
The opening times for the store will be between 8am-10pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10am-4pm on Sundays. It will be the second new store to open at the shopping park this year following the introduction of B&M.
The current Lidl store at Borehamwood Shopping Park will close at 10pm on May 18.
Lidl GB’s regional head of property Mike Devine said: "It is fantastic that we are able to open our doors and welcome everyone into our new store in Borehamwood. We are delighted to be able to improve our offering and deliver even more of our high quality and affordable produce to the local community.
"We would like to thank all those who have played a part in delivering this new store and now look forward to welcoming everyone through our new doors."
The budget chain is also progressing with the construction of another store in the town - in Elstree Way.
The Times understands that Lidl branch could be open by the end of this year but an official opening date has not yet been confirmed.
