Steam trains will return to Hertfordshire’s railways this Saturday (May 14), giving residents a chance to experience history.
The Duchess of Sutherland will pass through Potters Bar at speed on its way from Norfolk to London, with its journey through Hertfordshire expected between 10-11am.
The Railway Touring Company runs the route for passengers to travel in style on a locomotive which once transported the Queen.

Avid trainspotters will also be interested in seeing such an historic train pass by and those making ordinary journeys may get a surprise as it passes through their local station.
This 'Windsor Flyer' service will run from Norwich to Windsor and adult tickets range from £129-£299. Children’s and family tickets are also available.
