A business based in Borehamwood says it is "delighted" to announce the acquisition of an IT service provider.
Factotum Group LLP, which is a business services and outsourcing practice at the Kinetic Business Centre in Theobald Street, has bought R3 IT Services Limited.
Factotum says R3's aims of eliminating business challenges and saving businesses time around IT services is a "perfect fit".
Simon Russell, director of R3, will join Factotum as its chief information officer and chief technical officer.
Bobby Lane, chief executive of Factotum, said: "We are thrilled to have acquired the business of R3 IT Services and that Simon has joined the Factotum team, enabling us to provide our
clients with flexible, scalable IT services that match business' needs.
"IT is a core requirement, but many business owners find it difficult to assess what they need and integrate additional areas as they grow."
Mr Russell added: "By joining Factotum, we will become part of a multi-service proposition that provides our clients with even greater support for their business, but allows us to maintain our exceptionally personal approach.
"Our IT services will combine well with Factotum's other services allowing clients to adopt the latest technologies to increase business performance and productivity, while improving flexibility and mitigating risk; whatever stage their business is at."
