Crews from four fire stations responded to several calls about a house fire overnight.
Firefighters were called to a property off Oakridge Avenue in Radlett shortly before 1am (February 7).
On arrival, crews found a fire in the roof space of a two-storey detached property with firefighters using three hoses and a jet to put out the flames.
An aerial ladder platform from Watford was also used with crews from Borehamwood, Garston, and St Albans also attending.
The fire was put out at 2.40am but crews remained on-site for around an hour to make sure the building was as secure as possible and salvage its contents.
The cause of the fire is unclear at this time.
