Police have charged two people with murder after a man was found dead inside a flat in Bushey.
Vishal Gohel was found unresponsive inside a property in High Street at around 10.45pm on Sunday, January 23.
The 44-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed that two people have been charged in connection with his death.
They are:
- Georgia Bruce-Annan, 20, of Harts Lane in Barking, who has been charged with murder
- Faith Hoppie, 21, of Blake Avenue in Barking, who has been charged with murder
Both will appear at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Friday, February 4.
Police also confirmed they arrested two more people as part of its investigation.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday and a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday.
Both are in police custody.
Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, from the BCH Major Crime Unit, said: “This is a fast-moving investigation, and we are still keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information.
“If you think you might be able to help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Any information you have, no matter how small it might seem, could be vital for our investigation.”
Vishal’s family are being supported by specially trained officers and they have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
