Borehamwood's biggest fireworks display is going ahead this year.
The annual display at Meadow Park was cancelled last year because of the pandemic but it back for this Bonfire Night.
Elstree & Borehamwood Town Council has confirmed entry to the display will be free with fireworks beginning from 7.30pm on Friday November 5.
The theme this year will be celebrating the music of James Bond after 007's latest film No Time to Die was released a few weeks ago.
Although the display will kick-off at 7.30pm, the event at Meadow Park will run from 7pm until 8pm.
The town council requests anyone with Covid symptoms does not attend the event.
Meanwhile a date has also been set for the Christmas lights switch-on.
It will take place at 4.30pm on Sunday November 28 outside All Saints Church in Shenley Road in the town centre.
Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen Taylor in BBC soap EastEnders - which is filmed in Borehamwood - has been invited to light up the tree.
There will also be a Santa's Grotto, kids ride, and ice skating - all free - along with free tea and coffee.
Borehamwood Brass and Borehamwood Rock Choir will provide the musical entertainment.
Any proceeds from the event will go to Borehamwood Foodbank.
