One person was rescued from a house fire in Borehamwood this morning.
Emergency services were rushed to the fire in Allerton Road just after 11am on Monday.
Firefighters found a fire on the ground floor of a mid-terraced property.
One person was rescued by fire crews, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue said.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics.
We have had a Make Pumps 6 incident in Borehamwood. Control received 9 calls to a property fire @BorehamwoodFire @fire_PottersBar were initially mobilised. Crews made up for more appliances shortly after booking in attendance

Further crews from @StAlbansfire @FireWatford and Welwyn Garden City also attended. One person was rescued from the fire and in the care of @EastEnglandAmb ๐๐๐๐๐

All other people were accounted for.
Hertfordshire Constabulary put road closures in place at the junction of Allerton Road and Aycliffe Road.
The fire was putย out by 12.03pmย and its cause is under investigation.
In total, eight appliances attended the incident.
