Oliver Dowden has been assigned a new role after a reshuffle at the Cabinet Office.
The Hertsmere MP served as Culture Secretary since February 2020 – however the role has now been taken over by former health minister Nadine Dorries.
Mr Dowden has now been appointed a co-chairman of the Conservative Party, and will also serve as a Minister without Portfolio.

Amanda Milling formerly held the role as Minister without Portfolio before she was sacked earlier today.
In response, Mr Dowden said in a tweet: "Delighted to be appointed Chairman of the @Conservatives by @BorisJohnson.
"I can’t wait to support the Conservative family to level up the country and build back better.
"With #CPC21 in just a couple of weeks, I can’t wait to see you all in Manchester."
He also added: "Looking forward to working jointly with Ben Elliot and the whole CCHQ team."

Dowden was seen entering Number 10 amid the cabinet reshuffle today near to 4pm, however at the time he did not respond to questions whether he had been promoted or demoted from his role.
