The finishing touches have been made to the final homes at a housing development in Borehamwood, where work is now complete.
Bellway has delivered 306 new homes at the former Holmshill and Hertswood school sites off Shenley Road with the new estate named 'Hertsmere Mews'.
All of the homes at Hertsmere Mews were sold or rented out before construction work finished, marking the end of the four-year build programme in the area.
Throughout their time at the site, project manager Steve Cutting and his team, Dale Johnston, Pat Clarke and Kaylea Burns, have gained multiple awards from the National House Building Council (NHBC) – including the Pride in the Job Quality Award, two Seal of Excellence awards and the National Health and Safety Award – and two Considerate Constructors Awards, in recognition of their work in Borehamwood.
Greg Allsop, sales and marketing director for Bellway North London, said: "The high standard of apartments and houses delivered at Hertsmere Mews has been key to the success of this development.
"From start to finish, the entire project team have done an exceptional job in creating much-needed, high-quality housing within this vibrant new community in Borehamwood.
"All of the homes at the development are now occupied, with the final residents moving in at the end of April."
Bellway's purchase of the site enabled Hertswood to build and complete a brand new academy, opening in September 2019.
