Police say two people sustained minor injuries after a car flipped over yesterday.
The emergency services were called to the A1 just north of Borehamwood at 1.13pm following reports of a crash (Thursday May 20).
A black Vauxhall Corsa was left on its side in the middle lane.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says the driver and passenger managed to get themselves out of the car and said paramedics who attended reported minor injuries.
The A1 was closed from Stirling Corner all the way up to the crash scene, which was around half a mile before junction 1 for the M25.
This caused significant traffic delays at Stirling Corner.
Police say the Vauxhall was recovered and the road reopened just before 2.30pm.
