Borehamwood and surrounding villages were virtually free of any new coronavirus cases for a week, a map has revealed.
A government map shows in the seven days to April 4, there were only three definite cases combined across the whole of Borehamwood, Elstree, Shenley, and Radlett.
These three cases were in Brookmeadow ward, but everywhere else in Borehamwood, as well as Elstree, Shenley, and Radlett recorded less than three cases - and potentially none at all.
For patient confidentiality reasons, explicit data from areas where one or two cases were recorded are not shown.
The latest figures are worlds apart from December and January when hundreds of new cases were being found every week in Borehamwood and across the rest of Hertsmere.
Hertsmere's latest weekly rate of Covid cases - for the week ending April 5 - is 15.2 (16 cases) per 100,000 population, which is among the lowest in Hertfordshire.
In the seven days before that, the rate in Hertsmere sat at 28.6.
The highest weekly rate in England is currently Corby in Northamptonshire where the rate sits at 127.4 cases per 100,000 - which is nearly ten times lower than when the Covid rate in Hertsmere was at its worst.
In Hertsmere, no more than four cases have been found on a single day since March 25 - and any cases have been more focused on youngsters and those in their 40s.
Meanwhile, data from NHS England shows 95.3 per cent (37,618 people) of Hertsmere's over 50s had had at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine by April 4.
No deaths of any residents in Hertsmere who died within 28 days of a positive Covid test have been reported since March 21.
In total, three coronavirus deaths were reported across the borough for March.
With further lockdown restrictions easing on Monday, including the reopening of shops, the public are being urged by health officials to act responsibly and maintain social distancing while out about.
