McDonald's will reopen its drive thru in Borehamwood today.
The fast food chain announced this week that it will be reopening 497 more of its drive thrus after selected sites opened last month.
The drive-thru will be open from 11am today (Thursday) and there will be a limited menu - this includes no breakfast menu or milkshakes.
The drive thru will be open 11am until 10pm everyday
There will also be a cap on how much a customer can spend which is £25 per car and people are encouraged to pay contactless rather than with cash.
The reopening is likely to prove popular and traffic jams in Borehamwood town centre are likely, particularly because McDonald's is employing smaller teams to help keep social distancing.
There have been drive-thrus open in Watford and Bushey since last month which have all been very busy and required police intervention at time to control the queues.
McDonald's has warned it will close drive thrus if it gets too busy.
Borehamwood McDonald's will be drive thru only. There is no delivery service and the restaurant itself remains closed.
The drive thru in London Colney has also reopened.
