A 31-year-old man who has modelled his hairstyle on a famous wrestler will be shaving his hair this summer.
Joshua Gershinson, of Furzehill Road, Borehamwood, began growing his hair out 15 years ago so that he could look like Mark William Calaway aka The Undertaker.
Since then, a trip to the barbers has been rare, but in a few months time, Mr Gershinson will look a whole different.
The 31-year-old, who has tourettes syndrome, wants to raise £3,000 for three charities - and he'll be donating his hair to the Little Princess Trust.
He said: "This idea has been a long time coming. The three charities I am raising money for are really important to me, my family, and my friends. I live with tourettes syndrome, my mother has multiple sclerosis, and I have many friends with mental health illnesses.
"It would mean a great deal for people to support me." So far, Mr Gershinson has raised £240. The three beneficiaries of this fundraiser are Tourettes Action, the MS Society, and Mind UK.
