A few days ago, I returned my trolley to a local supermarket and inadvertently left my handbag in it.
I returned within less than 20 minutes but it had disappeared. I was devastated. You can imagine what I was thinking – there’s no chance of getting it back.
I chanced ringing my mobile phone and heard a voice say “I think I’ve got something that belongs to you”. The lady had already found out where I lived from ID in my bag and was in the process of returning it to me.
I’d like to publicly praise and thank her for her honesty. If only more people were like her.
